The MemeJam contest, held online from March 21st, 2024, brought together a diverse group of participants to creatively address cybersecurity topics through humor. Hosted by Secretary Vinay Varshigan and Media Relations Executive Sri Thanuj, the week-long event turned social media into a lively arena for sharing memes. Participants' witty and insightful creations garnered global engagement through likes, shares, and comments. Beyond entertainment, the contest highlighted the role of humor in communicating cybersecurity messages effectively. As the event concluded, both participants and organizers reflected on its success, anticipating future initiatives to promote cybersecurity awareness and engagement .
Tech Talk

SVCE Cyber Hub organized Tech talk event on the embedded systems security on 4th march 2024 at Biotech seminar hall. The guest speakers of this event were Mr. Rahul Ram and Mr. Thiyagu Balakrishnan, Product Security Engineers from Comcast. They shared their industry expertise through informative presentations and interactive discussions. The event aimed at securing knowledge on embedded systems. Participants delved into embedded systems security principles and acquired practical skills to identify and mitigate security risks through hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions .
QuizBox 3.0

The CyberHub at SVCE organized a thrilling and engaging online event, the Quiz Box, which attracted numerous participants from various backgrounds. The event aimed to test participant’s knowledge on cybersecurity, technology trends, and general awareness in the digital realm.The Quiz Box event was conducted entirely online, utilizing modern technology and virtual platforms Quizizz to ensure accessibility for participants. Quizmaster Sai Ganesh designed a well-rounded set of questions, each designed to challenge participants with a diverse range of trends related to cybersecurity, ethical hacking, programming, and the latest advancements in technology.
Inauguration 2023-2024

SVCE Cyber Hub has organized its inauguration for the year 2023-2024 on 10th October 2023. This event, exclusively crafted for the bright minds from the CSE and AIDS departments of the second and third years, was a testament to the commitment of SVCE Cyberhub in fostering excellence in these critical domains The chief guest for the event was our very own alumni and founder of Cyberhub Mr. Rakesh Elamaran. He addressed the topic "Basics and Fundamentals of Cybersecurity".He emphasized the pressing need for cybersecurity and how it has the power to shape the future. His encouragement resonated with each one of us, urging us to understand deeper into this upcoming field. The students were made to actively participate in a quiz .
QuizBox’23
15th March 2023
SVCE Cyberhub organised QuizBox’23 event on 15th March 2023 at Alan Turing Hall in SVCE. QuixBox’23 is a quiz event exclusive for CSE and AIDS department for second and third years which was mainly on the topic Cyber Security and Networking and was sponsored by our student community of ENVOI.The first round consisted of 20 aptitude questions from the field of cybersecurity, operating systems and networking, which was open to all teams.For the final round they had designed a chat BOT which interacted with participants and guided them to solve the questions. Each participant were given a set of questions solving which gave them clues to the password for unlocking the phone.
Inauguration

SVCE Cyber Hub has organized its first offline inauguration for the year 2022- 2023 on 10th November 2022. This club was founded in 2020. The chief guest for the event was our very own alumni and founder of Cyberhub Mr. Rakesh Elamaran. He is a Security Analysts in Temenos. He addressed the topic “Basics of Cybersecurity”.He emphasized the need for cyber security and how it can shape the future. He encouraged all the students to know about this upcoming field. The other Chief guest was Mr.Gopalsamy Rajendran who is a Senior Security Engineer in Accubits Technologies Inc and he addressed the topic “Intricacies of Blockchain Security”.
CYBE-NAR 2.0
27th May & 28th May 2022
SVCE Cyber Hub organised CYBE-NAR 2.0 on 27th and 28 th May 2022 spanned two days with different hosts. Day 1, hosted by Mr.HARISUTHAN, Information Security Analyst at FIS Global , began at 6pm, featuring the importance of (SOC) Security Operation Centre . Day 2, hosted by Mr. Sudhakar Muthumani , He is a security analyst at Primefort pvt limited started at 6 pm, the Open Source Foundation for Application Security on the main website The event facilitated knowledge exchange and interaction.
QuizBox 2.0
19th April 2022
SVCE Cyber Hub Quiz box 2.0 on 19th April 2022 is an online event The preliminary round covered cybersecurity, OS, and networking. The non-technical round explored movies and entertainment. Top 5 teams, including Cyber Hub, reached the finale with a tiebreaker. The unique final round introduced a chat BOT for dynamic interaction, determining winners based on timing. Victorious teams received a prizes . The event aims to inspire future intellectually stimulating events.

SVCE Cyberhub hosted its flagship event "Quizbox 1.0" on the 23rd of September 2020, in an online format. Quizbox 1.0 was a specialized quiz competition exclusively designed for students of the CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE departments in their second, third, and final years of study. The event revolved around the compelling themes of Cyber Security and Networking, offering participants a unique opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills in these vital domains.

SVCE Cyber Hub organized “CYBE-NAR” a webinar series from 11/07/2020 to 14/07/2020, the main objective of that webinar was to bring awareness on the domain of Cyber security and Networking. The webinar was conducted by our very own alumni. Topics such as Grow you career in Cyber Security, Introduction to Computer Networks, Basics of Cyber Security and Holistic View of Cyber Security were covered.
